The 3-day workshop, held at Lāčplēša iela 37, Riga, equipped participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to promote efficient energy consumption and sustainable energy practices. Key topics covered included methods for measuring energy consumption, understanding energy inefficiencies, and exploring renewable energy sources. Attendees engaged in practical exercises, case studies, and discussions, all designed to empower them to apply these concepts in their own communities and organizations.
A highlight of the workshop was the final day, which included a study visit to the wasteland. This field trip provided participants with the opportunity to observe real-world examples of sustainable energy management in action.
One participant noted, "This workshop was incredibly informative. I learned practical ways to reduce my energy consumption and gained valuable insights into the importance of sustainable practices."
