EUpro Consultancy & Training Hosts “Amber Bridges” Erasmus+ Project Training in Breda, Netherlands

From July 22 to July 26, EUpro Consultancy & Training had the honor of hosting a pivotal training session as part of the Erasmus+ “Amber Bridges” project. The event, titled "VocTech Rehab 2.0: A Digital Approach to Vocational Rehabilitation," brought together ten dedicated representatives—five from Latvia's Social Integration State Agency (SIVA) and five from Van Gençlik Eğitim Akademisi Derneği (Turkey)—for an intensive week of learning and collaboration in Breda, Netherlands. Empowering Educators with Cutting-Edge Skills The training was expertly led by coach Ela Rath and Asst. Prof. Şehnaz Nigar Çelik, who guided participants through a comprehensive program designed to enhance their knowledge and skills in vocational rehabilitation. Key topics included: Goal-Setting Theories and Models: Participants explored various frameworks to effectively set and achieve goals. Positive Intelligence: Understanding the importance of a positive mindset in both personal and professional development. HAAM Approach: A unique method focusing on Habits, Accountability, Achievement, and Rewards, Motivation Triggers for goal-setting and action planning. Disability Characterization Models: Insights into how disabilities are categorized and understood in vocational contexts. Resilience Barriers and Coping Strategies: Tools and strategies to overcome challenges and build resilience in educational environments. Impacting the Future of Vocational Education The knowledge and skills gained during this training are set to make a significant impact on how educational processes are organized. With a more individualized approach, educators are now better equipped to prepare students for the demands of the modern labor market. This training also emphasized the importance of motivating students to set personal development goals and foster self-efficacy, critical components in today’s educational landscape. Strengthening Partnerships and Looking Ahead Beyond the educational content, this training was a valuable opportunity for in-person communication and collaboration among project partners. The strong team spirit and shared understanding that emerged during these sessions are essential for the successful implementation of the project’s next phase: developing an interactive e-book series on vocational best practices. EUpro Consultancy & Training is proud to contribute to this important initiative and is grateful for the financial support provided by the European Union’s Erasmus+ program. Stay tuned for more updates on the "Amber Bridges" project as we continue to work together to innovate and improve vocational education across borders.
